Lodge Chops the Side

Niveau 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

The flop of {k-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} was spread across the felt with four players alive in the hand. The big blind was all in already and the action checked to Harry Lodge on the button who shipped all in for a little over 70,000. The small blind stuck in his last 11,000 chips and Lodge was also called by the biggest stack at the table.

Harry Lodge: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Small Blind: {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} to give Lodge a couple of outs for the side pot but the {4-Clubs} on the river allowed the small blind to scoop the main pot.

Poker Player Wins WSOP Main Event Satty in His Sleep...Literally

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

For most, the saying, "I could win that poker tournament in my sleep," is laughable at best. But not for Eric Goldstein, who fell asleep Wednesday night, and then woke up to discover he'd won an $80 satellite into the 2022 WSOP Main Event on WSOP.com.

Goldstein told PokerNews he forgot he was registered for the satellite, which only awarded one seat into poker's most prestigious annual tournament, a $10,000 buy-in event.

Lin Somehow Gets Opponents To Fold...And He Has Quads

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ren Lin

On a board of {10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} Ren Lin had moved all in for around 29,000 chips. He was out of position in the small blind versus the cutoff and button and when he jammed river they both made the fold.

With 100,000 at least already in the pot, Lin laughed as he took it down, showing his table mates {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for flopped quads.
