Pieter Aerts Eliminated in 15th Place ($24,597)

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Pieter Aerts
Pieter Aerts

Jeffrey Lo bet 375,000 from the button and Pieter Aerts in the small blind moved all in for 2,155,000. Lo made the call.

Pieter Aerts: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jeffrey Lo: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Lo flopped a set of tens but was by no means safe after the monotone board of {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} gave Aerts a flush draw and straight draw.

The remainder of the board was safe for Lo, however, as the {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} completed the board sending Aerts to the rail.

Saliba and Petrone Double

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Renan Bruschi opened to 200,000 from the cutoff before Justin Saliba raised to 1,400,000, leaving 65,000 behind.

Bruschi called thinking his opponent was all in and exposed his {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The floor was called but it was ruled no foul play had taken place.

Saliba put in the last of his chips on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop and was called.

Justin Saliba: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Renan Bruschi: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Saliba dodged his opponents overcard as the board completed with the {6-Clubs} and {3-Diamonds}.

On the other table, Ramiro Petrone found a double up through Anton Wigg. Petrone's {9-}{2-} made two pair to beat Wigg's {a-}{5-}, which had flopped top pair.

Bruschi Doubles Through Lo

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Renan Bruschi on the button got their chips in the middle against Jeffrey Lo in the small blind, with Bruschi at risk for 1,600,000.

Renan Bruschi: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jeffrey Lo: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board of {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was no help to Lo and the Brazilian Bruschi gets a double up.

Updated Stacks

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Derek Lacock Eliminated in 16th Place ($24,597)

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Derek Lacock
Derek Lacock

David Jackson opened to 200,000 from early position before calling the 1,250,000 all in from Derek Lacock in middle position.

Derek Lacock: {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}
David Jackson: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Both players paired their ace on the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop but Jackson was way in front with top pair/top kicker and a flush draw. The {j-Diamonds} tun and {k-Clubs} river were of no help to Lacock who bowed out in 16th place.

Blake Bohn Eliminated in 18th Place ($20,149); Samy Dubonnet Eliminated in 17th Place ($24,597)

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Blake Bohn
Blake Bohn

Richard Scardina bet 200,000 from under the gun. Blake Bohn moved all in on the button for 1,200,000, and Samy Dubonnet wanted to join the party and moved all in for 1,400,000. Scardinia made the call, covering the other players.

Blake Bohn: {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Samy Dubonnet: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Richard Scardina: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} was not a pretty sight for Scardina as Dubonnet was on a flush draw and Bohn picked up a gutshot draw. However, the remaining runout of {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} was safe for Scardina, sending two players to the rail.

Dan Zack Still Leads WSOP POY Race; Ivey, Deeb within Striking Distance

Niveau 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Daniel Zack
Daniel Zack

On the eve of the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event, Dan Zack is holding steady in first place in the Player of the Year race. But he'll have to hold off the likes of Shaun Deeb, Phil Ivey, and defending champion Josh Arieh, all of whom are still in the ballgame.

Zack held the top spot last week, but much of the leaderboard has since changed. Daniel Weinman remains in second place, while Ivey and Deeb have both moved a few spots higher in the top 10.

Joshua Robertson

Joshua Robertson jammed for 1,050,000 from middle position and ended up in an all-in showdown with Anton Wigg, who was on his left.

Joshua Robertson: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Anton Wigg: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Robertson added some outs as he had a draw to Broadway on the {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop but failed to improve on the {2-Spades}{4-Spades} runout.
