Action started when Cosmin Joldis opened to 8,000,000 from under the gun. It folded to Kei Nitta who shoved all in from the small blind for 31,000,000 which was called.

Kei Nitta: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Cosmin Joldis: {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

It was a classic flip but when the board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Joldis made a straight and Nitta exited in 5th place.

Joldis Draws First Blood

Niveau 42 : 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante

Cosmin Joldis raised to 6,000,000 from the cutoff and Kei Nitta defended in the big blind.

The flop came out {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Nitta check-called a bet of 3,000,000 from Joldis.

The turn of {3-Clubs} saw Nitta check again and this time Joldis sized up to 6,000,000 which was called.

The river rolled off a {7-Hearts} and Joldis bet 12,000,000 when checked to, which Nitta responded to by folding and Joldis' rail erupted in applause.
