Hof In The Stratosphere

Niveau 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Natalie Hof
Natalie Hof

Natalie Hof raised to 600,000 on the button and in the small blind, another player three-bet to 2,100,000 which folded out all other players except for Hof who called.

The flop came out {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the small blind led out for 1,800,000 which saw Hof call.

The turn of {6-Hearts} saw both players check to the {7-Hearts} river where the small blind moved all in for 6,450,000 effective, sending Hof into the tank. After some thinking she tossed in a chip for the call.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Natalie Hof: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Hof's top pair good kicker was good against her opponent's missed flush draw and she rose to one of the largest stacks in the tournament.

Kempe Busto But Fires Five Bounties

Niveau 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Rainer Kempe busted Event #68, but he still had five bounties to claim.

Four of the bounties were the minimum $1,000 but luckily, in a sense, Kempe hit the chest and went up to try it luck. With the current prizes left, Kempe had around a 1 in 3 chance of pulling a $50,000 or $100,000 bounty from the chest, but he got $25,000. Still, $29,000 in bounties is still a very respectable showing for the German crusher.

Daniel De Almeida just got a whole lot richer thanks to a little mystery bounty luck.

First, De Almeida hit the gold chest and picked the $100,000 ticket, much to the enjoyment of his brother
Caio De Almeida. He then drew another gold chest on the very next bounty ticket a few seconds later.

That ticket was worth $25,000 and amazingly both players remain in the tournament with 71 left.

Templeman has two stuffies (stuffed animals), a duck, and a horse, sitting on his table. They belong to his daughter and are said to be "invincible".

The stuffies run good has remained true so far as Templeman is still going with 75 players left.

Abualfilat Survives, Gamble and Mccartney Still Rolling

Niveau 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

There were screams of celebration coming from Raed Abualfilat from across the room.

Abualfilat was showing {a-Spades}{j-Spades} on a {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board for a pair of aces, and the pocket sevens of Michael Smith were headed in the muck. Abualfilat moves up over five million, similar to Smith's new count.

Meanwhile, Nathan Gamble is sitting between the two and he has chipped up to nearly eight million. His swap buddy Steven Mccartney has passed 10 million.
