Dinner Break Counts for the Final 12 Players

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In the very last hand on table 144, Joachim Haraldstad raised and was called by Tom Hu in the blinds. Nothing much happened on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop before Hu bet the {3-Hearts} turn for 425,000 and Haraldstad called. On the {q-Hearts} river, both checked and Hu had the best hand with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for a straight to the queen.

One more hand was played on the other table and that turned out to be a lengthy affair. Michael Duek opened to 280,000 on the button and Dzmitry Urbanovich defended the big blind after long contemplation. The {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was checked by both and Urbanovich check-called on the {4-Clubs} turn for 175,000.

After the {8-Hearts} river, Urbanovich checked again and Duek bet the pot. Urbanovich mulled it over for another three minutes and then folded eight minutes into the dinner break to become the joint bottom stack, one chip behind Allan Le.

Nitesh Rawtani raised the pot to 350,000 with 270,000 behind in the cutoff and Thair Kallabat called in the big blind. Kallabet bet enough on the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop and Rawtani called it off with the words "I have top set and a flush draw", which may or may not have been serious.

Nitesh Rawtani: {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Thair Kallabat: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs} turn was a brick but the {j-Hearts} river provided the straight and double for Rawtani.

Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Michael Duek raised to 225,000 in first position and was raised to 350,000 by Dzmitry Urbanovich, leaving one T-5,000 chip behind. After action folded back to Duek, he raised the rest to put Urbanovich in, and after surveying the other table, Urbanovich tossed in his last chip.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Michael Duek: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} bringing no help to Duek, who doubled up Urbanovich to start the post-dinner session.

Allan Le Eliminated in 12th Place ($61,760)

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Allan Le
Allan Le

After waiting for a spot to get his short stack in, Allan Le was under the gun and faced the prospect of having to fork out half of his stack via the big blind and big blind ante. Le mulled it over and raised the pot to 350,000 with 50,000 behind, which was called only by Shiva Dudani.

The {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked by Le, who then called all-in after Dudani bet 300,000.

Allan Le: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Shiva Dudani: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {2-Spades} turn and {2-Clubs} river runout kept Dudani in the lead and he dealt the final blow to Le with a full house. Le finished in 12th place for $61,760 and will have to wait until the next WSOP bracelet event to try and double his tally.

Elior Sion Eliminated in 11th Place ($76,792)

Thair Kallabat raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Elior Sion defended the big blind, which led them to the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. Sion checked and Kallabat bet the pot, then snap-called the check-shove by Sion for 960,000 total.

Elior Sion: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Thair Kallabat: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

"Wow," Michael Duek and Nitesh Rawtani gasped when they saw the top two and nut flush draw of Sion without even noticing the middle set for Kallabat.

The board completed with the {8-Diamonds} turn and {7-Clubs} river, sending Sion to the rail in 11th place for $76,792.

Troha Scores Massive Double with Massive Cooler

Niveau 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Sean Troha
Sean Troha

After Sean Troha limped in first position, Michael Duek raised to 400,000 in the hijack. Troha called to see a flop.

That flop came {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and after Troha checked, Duek bet 200,000.

Troha called, and the {4-Clubs} fell on the turn, which he again checked.

This time Duek bet 500,000, and once more, Troha called.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds}, and after another check from Troha, Duek moved all in for Troha's last 1,315,000.

Troha snap-called and rolled over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a flopped full house.

Duek couldn't believe his bad luck as he flashed {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{x-}{x-} for a lesser flopped full house of fives full of kings and dumped his losing cards into the muck, sending a huge pot across the table.

Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Thair Kallabat won a bigger pot off Michael Duek in the previous hand and Dzmitry Urbanovich then raised the pot from under the gun. It folded all the way back to Nitesh Rawtani in the big blind, who glanced at the stack of his table neighbour and then counted his own which indicated he would have fewer than one big blind left if he were to double Urbanovich.

Rawtani then moved all-in, Urbanovich glanced at the other table and then called all-in.

Dzmitry Urbanovich: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Nitesh Rawtani: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Rawtani's superior full house knocked out Urbanovich in 10th place for $76,792.

Tom Hu had chipped up after the dinner break and raised the button in the final hand before the table was to break for the unofficial final table redraw. Jered Bettencourt saw the seat open on the other table and then stuck it in from the big blind for Hu to call.

Jered Bettencourt: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}
Tom Hu: {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts} runout gave Hu the superior hand and Bettencourt was eliminated in 9th place for $97,044.
