Gollins Re-Claims Chip Lead, Over 12 Million

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Christina Gollins
Christina Gollins

In a hand relayed to PokerNews, Christina Gollins opened to 225,000 and the player in middle position three-bet to 700,000. Gollins called.

The flop came {j-}{q-}{3-} with two spades. Gollins checked and the middle-position player put out a continuation bet of 400,000. Gollins called.

The turn brought a {7-}. The player once again bet, this time for 1,200,000. Gollins called.

The board paired on a {3-} river. Gollins shoved all in and the middle-position player called and flipped over {a-}{k-} for the ace-high hero call.

Gollins flipped over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and eliminated the player while taking her stack to over 12 million.

Kim Catches Kasic in Cookie Jar

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With a 550,000 in the pot and a flop of {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} in front of him, Sejo Kasic checked from the big blind to Bryan Kim on the button.

Kim bet 225,000 and was met with an all-in check-raise to 1,400,000.

Kim deliberated for a bit, then dropped a stack of chips forward to make what would prove to be a very good call.

Sejo Kasic: {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Bryan Kim: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Kim's top pair had picked off Kasic's bottom pair, and after the {3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} runout, Kasic's chips belonged to Kim, while a payout slip now belonged to Kasic.

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Boris Akopov opened for 250,000 from the hijack and Spencer Champlin called from the small blind. Benjamin Thomas also called from the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Akopov continued for 250,000. Champlin called and Thomas got out of the way.

The turn came the {a-Diamonds} and both players tapped the table.

On the {3-Diamonds} river, Champlin put in 1,200,000 of his 1,900,000 remaining chips. Akopov, who only had 1,400,000 behind himself, snap-folded and Champlin took down a big pot.

Moreno Eliminated in Huge Double Knockout

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Andrew Moreno
Andrew Moreno

A crowd was gathered around table 485, a pile of chips was in the middle, and stacks were being verified as the PokerNews team arrived on the scene. Ryan Riess was kind enough to relay the action on the hand which saw one-time chip leader Andrew Moreno sent to the rail and made Salah Nimer the first player over ten million.

After Noam Muallem raised on the button, Nimer three-bet in the small blind and then Moreno moved all in for approximately 2,400,000. Muallem then re-jammed for approximately 4,600,000, and Nimer called, putting both opponents at risk.

Andrew Moreno: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Noam Muallem: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Salah Nimer: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Moreno had picked the wrong time for his four-bet, while Muallem was completely coolered, with one of his potential outs in Moreno's hand.

The flop then came {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}, with the turn bringing the {7-Diamonds}, giving Moreno some hope with a flush draw, but the {j-Hearts} on the river ended both his and Muallem's day's in wild fashion.

Bliss in Paradise After Scoring Elimination with Flopped Set

Niveau 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

From early position, Donald Bliss (known as Don to his friends and family) went all in. The big blind would call for their final 800,000.

Big Blind: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Don Bliss: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

It was a classic flip that went heavily in Bliss' favor as the flop came {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The {7-Clubs} turn had the big blind drawing dead and Bliss enjoyed a big addition to his stack.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board.

At the same table, Christina Gollins is up to 5,500,000.
