Luke Martinelli
Luke Martinelli

Alexander Farahi opened to 175,000 from middle position and was called by Leandro Vlastaris from the hijack. Luke Martinelli moved all in for 740,000 from the small blind and only Farahi called.

Luke Martinelli: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Alexander Farahi: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

"I'm in good shape, I only lose this about 15% of the time," said the at risk player to his rail.

The {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop put Farahi in the lead but the {10-Spades} turn gave Martinelli outs to the flush and the straight. The {4-Clubs} completed the board and Martinelli became the latest Day 3 casualty.

Luke Martinelli
Luke Martinelli

Dave Stefanski opened to 120,000 from the cutoff before Luke Martinelli jammed for 280,000 from the small blind. David Miscikowski made it 560,000 in the big blind and Stefanski called.

Stefanski bet the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Miscikowski quickly mucked. Stefanksi had the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a big combo draw while Martinelli was still ahead with his {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds} turn helped neither, but the {k-Spades} river gave Martinelli Broadway to survive elimination.

Virgile Turchi

Preflop action had Santiago Plante raising to 125,000 from the button and Virgile Turchi in the small blind moving all in for 850,000. Alexander Farahi in late position shoved over top and Plante folded.

Virgile Turchi: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Alexander Farahi: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The flop came down {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} hitting trips for Farahi right off the bat but Turchi still had a chance to hit a nine to save him. The turn was a {7-Clubs} and with a {5-Hearts} on the river he was out of luck and that was it for his time in the tournament.

Andjelko Andrejevic: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Brian Keith Etheridge: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Andrejevic flopped best as the dealer fanned the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. The {5-Clubs} turn further strengthened the short stack's hand. However the {q-Clubs} river gave Etheridge a full house to secure the bust out.

With around 400,000 in the middle and a board of {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} showing, Matt Berkey bet 350,000 from late position. The only other player in the hand was Ran Koller in the hijack who called.

On the river came the {5-Spades} and Berkey checked to Koller who threw out 800,000. Berkey counted out his chips and sat in the tank for a few minutes before deciding to call. Koller flipped over {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for top two pair and Berkey mucked without showing.
