Silber Finds a Double

Niveau 19 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Reagan Silber
Reagan Silber

Taylor von Kriegenbergh opened to 200,000 from late position. Reagan Silber moved all in from the button for 1,210,000. Action folded back to von Kriegenbergh who made the call.

Taylor von Kriegenbergh: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Reagan Silber: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Silber stood up as he was in bad shape and at risk. The flop brought {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, offering some possible chop outs to Silber. The turn was better than a chop when the {j-Hearts} hit. The river was a {q-Spades} and Silber found the full double.

Calvin Lee Eliminated in 14th Place ($65,511)

Niveau 19 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Calvin Lee
Calvin Lee

Reagan Silber opened to 200,000 from the cutoff. Just behind him on the button, Chris Brewer moved all in, having the table covered. In the big blind, Calvin Lee went into the tank. After about a minute, he decided to make the call and Silber got out of the way.

Chris Brewer: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Calvin Lee: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

In a big race, the flop {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} offered Brewer more out with a flush draw. That draw came in immediately on the {7-Spades} that left Lee drawing dead. The {7-Diamonds} river made it official and Lee was eliminated.

Justin Young

Justin Young moved all in and was called by Koray Aldemir. Taylor von Kriegenbergh open-mucked {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} in the big blind and the cards were turned over.

Justin Young: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop saw Von Kriegenbergh mutter something in frustration, while the {2-Hearts}{j-Spades} runout couldn't save Young and he became the first elimination of the final day

Koray Aldemir opened to 215,000 from early position. Action folded all the way around to Justin Young in the big blind who decided to move all in for 460,000. Aldemir called quickly.

Justin Young: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The flop offered no help to young in the {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. The turn {6-Spades} was just what he wanted though. The river {4-Diamonds} secured Young the victory while Aldemir rides the early roller coaster.

Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Justin Young opened to 200,000 from under the gun and Koray Aldemir three-bet to 850,000 with less than 200,000 behind.

It folded around to Young who deliberated before raising all in. Aldemir called.

Koray Aldemir: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}
Justin Young: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Aldemir flopped a set on {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Young flung his cards away by the time the {8-Clubs} came on the turn to have him drawing dead. The river {2-Diamonds} sealed Aldemir's double up.

Niveau 19 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Taylor von Kriegenbergh raised to 200,000 on the button and Chris Brewer defended his big blind.

Brewer check-called 125,000 on the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and 350,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn. The river {q-Spades} was checked by both players.

Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

Jake Schindler opened from middle position to 200,000. Byron Kaverman called to his immediate left and so did Chad Eveslage in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}. Jake continued for a bet of about 200,000 and Schindler called, while Eveslage folded.

On the turn {6-Diamonds}, both players checked.

Schindler checked the {5-Spades} river, but Kaverman placed a bet of around 600,000. Schindler folded after some thought.

Early Double for Aldemir; Remains Short Stack

Niveau 19 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Koray Aldemir came into the final day as the tournament short stack, and the only player under a million in chips. However, he scored a quick double with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Justin Young in the first hand of the day.

The board was {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Aldemir doubled up.

He then defended his big blind to an Ognyan Dimov open to 200,000, but check-folded when the {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop came out.
