Lehr Pressures Gostisa

Niveau 6 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Rok Gostisa raised to 10,000 from middle position and Keith Lehr three-bet to 32,000 from the cutoff. Gostisa called and the flop was {4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Gostisa check-called a 22,000 bet from Lehr on the flop and the turn was {2-Hearts}.

Both players checked the turn to see {10-Hearts} on the river. Gostisa checked once again and Lehr bet 62,000. After a few moments in the tank, Gostisa tossed his hand in the muck and gave the pot to Lehr.

Arieh's Cowboys Good on the River

Niveau 6 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Josh Arieh

With about 180,000 in the pot, the cards on the board were {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Josh Arieh put out a bet of 150,000. His opponent was in position and thought for a while about his decision. 150,000 was nearly half his stack. After some time, he did land on a call.

Arieh flipped over {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and his opponent mucked.

"How're you feeling?" asked Arieh's neighbor.

"Feeling good, feeling good," smiled Arieh.

The 2021 WSOP Player of the Year, Arieh has one of the biggest stacks in the room and looks to start the summer with a deep run.

Michael Wang

Action started on the turn with a pot of about 55,000 and a board showing {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

The big blind checked over to Michael Wang in early position who put out a bet of 31,000. His opponent thought for about 20 seconds and decided to move all his chips into the middle, about 80,000. Wang called immediately.

Michael Wang: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Grafton Can't Miss Today

Niveau 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Action picked up with all cards on the board in a button versus small blind battle between Chance Kornuth and Sam Grafton.

Kornuth got all his chips in the middle from the button with {a-}{a-} and Grafton had the {a-}{k-} from the small blind.

The board ran out {k-}{4-}{k-}{j-}{q-} to give Grafton trips to rundown Kornuth's aces.

"Good luck, everybody," said Kornuth as his day was over.

"You're an early candidate for my favorite dealer of the year," Grafton told Danielle, the dealer responsible for the hand. "I'll tell you what happened at the cashier earlier, I pulled out a bundle of cash, and it was exactly the five k I needed. There's some magic here today," as Grafton rubbed his fingers together.

Speranza Gets Away From One

Niveau 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was heads up with around 25,000 in the pot and {6-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{7-Spades} on the board. Jesse Lonis checked from early position and Gianluca Speranza bet 8,000. Lonis raised to 28,000 and Speranza called.

The turn was {6-Hearts} and Lonis continued for 29,000. Speranza called once again and the river was {3-Diamonds}.

Lonis fired 65,000 on the river and Speranza went deep into the tank. After considering his options for several minutes, another player at the table called the clock. The tournament director arrived and Speranza waited the full 30 seconds before he finally tossed his hand in the muck to give up the pot.
