Table 648 Update; Almeida Takes Big From Jones

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Ryan Jones retold action to PokerNews about a hand where he lost a large portion of his stack.

When the big blind was at 12,000, Rui Bouquet opened from the cutoff to 24,000. JeWook Oh three-bet to 82,000 from the button. Jones then jammed all in, which at the time he had the table covered, in the big blind Caio Almeida called and the other two folded,

Almeida had woken up with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} which were dominating the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Jones. Oh claimed to have folded {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The board was no help to Jones and the tilt of chips at the table was dramatically altered.

Hardt Finds a Double Up

Niveau 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

In a pot of 68,000 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Clayton Hardt checked from the big blind and Valentin Oberhauser bet 50,000 from the hijack. Hardt took a moment before moving all in for 210,000 and Oberhauser made the call.

Clayton Hardt: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Valentin Oberhauser: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Hardt slow played jacks from the big blind and found a great situation being up against the jack-ten of his opponent. The board ran out {9-Hearts} and {9-Spades}, securing a full double up for Hardt.

Davis Keeps Mashing

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Mark Davis
Mark Davis

Action was picked up on a flop reading the {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades} and a pot of about 175,000 already resting in the middle.

From the cutoff, Benny Glaser check-called a bet of 80,000 from big stack Mark Davis who was on the button.

The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}. Glaser checked again. Davis counted and player with a stack of mint green 25,000 chips before putting them in the middle and saying all in. Glaser sat still for about 15 seconds before reaching for his cards and folding to send another pot over to Davis who has had no bumps in the road so far on Day 2 as his chip lead continues to surge.

Glaser Takes From Romero

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

In a big pot of just over 300,000 on a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, Benny Glaser checked from the small blind to James Romero in the big blind.

Romero went deep in the tank, deciding if he wanted to fire the river but eventually checked back and Glaser rolled over {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} which was enough to take down the large pot.

Khair Scores a Pot

Niveau 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Sultan Khair opened the action on the button to 25,000 and only the big blind made the call.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, the big blind checked and Khair bet 25,000, which was called. On the {a-Hearts} turn both players checked their option.

The {2-Diamonds} completed the board and both players checked again. The big blind rolled over {k-}{10-} and Khair revealed {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for flopped pair of nines which was enough to take the pot.
