Peake Busts Kassouf in Cooler

Niveau 5 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Will Kassouf
Will Kassouf

Action was joined as William Kassouf made a three-bet to 4,000 from the cutoff. Carlton Peake four-bet to 11,000 from middle position, sending Kassouf into the tank.

"I'm not folding. Just thinking if I should get it all in now or just call," he told Peake. "I'll call in case you're bluffing." he continued as he tossed in the call. On the {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop, Peake continued for 20,000. "I think this is definitely a cooler," Kassouf said. "I don't think I can fold. I wish I was good enough to fold this." Kassouf then moved all in for his remaining 39,000. "If you've got it you've got it." he told Peake as he did so. Peake snap called with Kassouf covered.

William Kassouf: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Carlton Peake: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Peake had Kassouf dominated, and nothing came on the {3-Spades} turn or {4-Hearts} river to change that. Peake raked in the pot, while Kassouf went to the rebuy line to get a fresh starting stack.

A {j-Clubs} showed on on the turn and Gavin fired out a bet of 5,200 and had the button calling again.

The river was a {3-Diamonds} and Gavin continued to bet, tossing 17,000 out and sending her opponent into the tank for a few minutes before he reluctantly decided to fold.

Dewald Doubles

Niveau 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Paul Dewald
Paul Dewald

The heads-up action was joined after 2015 WSOP.com Player of the Year Paul Dewald moved all in for 21,600 on the {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop. His opponent thought for a minute, but eventually called to put Dewald at risk.

Paul Dewald: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Dewald was ahead with his top pair and a favorite to score the double up, but his opponent had plenty of outs with an open-ended straight draw and backdoor flush draw. The {8-Clubs} turn took away the backdoor flush draw but gave her additional outs to a set or two pair. Luckily, the {5-Diamonds} river was not one of those outs, and he scooped the pot to double his stack.
