Oliver Biles
Oliver Biles

Action was caught at the very end of the hand as the board showed {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Oliver Biles made a river bet which Shaun Deeb called after thinking for a while.

Biles tabled the {k-}{8-}. Deeb shook his head and mucked his cards in frustration as his stack was knocked down to short one following the call.

Straight Over Top Set For Martin

Niveau 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Philip Martin
Philip Martin

Action was picked up on the turn as the board read {9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Action went check-check.

The river was the {8-Spades}. From under the gun, Jonathan Dokler moved all in and Phillip Martin snap-called from middle position by tossing one chip in the pot.

Dokler had the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for top set of aces but that was beaten out by the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} straight of Martin to send the sizeable pot over to him and take much of Dokler's stack away.
