According to an observer, Thomas Muehloecker got his stack in from under the gun and was at risk against a player in middle position.

Muehloecker ran kings into aces in the ultimate preflop cooler, but luckily for him, the board ran out four clubs to improve him to a flush and give him the fortunate double.

Gathy Gives Up

Michael Gathy opened to 800 on the button and received a single call out of the big blind.

The big blind checked to Gathy on a flop of {7-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades} and he continued for 700. His opponent made the call to send the two players to the turn.

Action checked through the {7-Spades} turn to the {10-Hearts} river where the big blind checked for a third time. Gathy decided not to try and get his opponent off of his hand and checked back before mucking when the big blind showed down {q-Spades}{2-Spades} for the flopped top pair.

Poker Bunny Hops Back

On a completed board of {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} , Paulina Loeliger aka "Poker Bunny" was deep in thought after faced with a bet of 1,800 from Chad Burum.

"Can I see your stack, please?' she asked after some time.

"Sure," Burum chuckled as he lifted his arm to show that he covered Loeliger.

Then Loeliger put out a raise to 7,000 and Burum looked slightly confused.

"Ok, nice hand," he said as he put out calling chips.

Loeliger then slapped her {a-Spades}{3-Spades} on the table for the nut flush and Burum tapped the table and folded.

Two Pair Over Two Pair For Yamagishi

The board read {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} on the turn. Colten Yamagishi bet 2,200 and Jared Grenier called.

The river came the {a-Diamonds}. Yamagishi bet 5,000 and Grenier called after thinking for about 20 seconds.

Yamagishi showed the {10-Clubs}{2-Spades} for flopped two pair, Grenier gave a bemused smile and flashed the {6-}{2-} for a bested two pair.

Set Over Set Rockets Scarpelli to the Top

Action was picked up on the turn with the board showing {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and Micah Scarpelli having more than 100,000 in the middle. A player on the button called all in for around 70,000.

The all-in player showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a flopped set, but Scarpelli had hit a two-outer on the turn with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to make a set of kings. The river came the {q-Hearts} and Scarpelli scored a knockout.

The eliminated player slowly rose from his seat before shaking Scarpelli's hand. "Nice hand," he said, mustering a smile despite the brutal knockout.

"You do the same thing with sixes or fives there? There's no way he can fold that," a tablemate asked Scarpelli after the hand.

"Set over set is one of the hardest things in poker," Scarpelli replied.

Three players saw a flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. The small blind led for 3,800. Kelly Minkin called under the gun and the button also called.

The turn double paired the board with the {3-Spades}. It checked around to the {9-Spades} river where it also checked around and Minkin tabled the winner with the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Frank Stepuchin had just taken his seat before opening to 700 from under the gun. A player in middle position called as did both blinds to setup four-handed action heading to the flop.

The small and big blinds checked as did Stepuchin on the {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop. The middle position player led out for 1,600, eliciting folds from the blinds. "Sold!" exclaimed the ever flamboyant Stepuchin, football in hand, as he pushed his cards into the muck.

Perry Friedman opened from late position before getting three-bet to 2,300 from the player on the button. The small blind cold called and Friedman called as well.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The player in the blinds checked. Friedman donk-led for 5,000 and both opponents folded.

Friedman flashed king-ten to the table.

"I didn't want to get run down by a diamond," he said as he raked the pot.

Andrade Silently Takes a Pot

Gabriel Andrade was in the big blind and called a bet of 1,100 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Both players checked the {7-Hearts} turn.

The river came the {5-Clubs} and Andrade led out for 3,700. His opponent gave it some thought before folding as Andrade, who usually enjoys entertaining his tablemates both with his play and singing, dragged in the pot without a noise.

Jerry Wong, a 2016 November Niner, recently took his seat at this table.
