There was a flush on the board as it read 
. The pot had about 18,000 in it and Lee Swerdlin applied pressure to his opponent by betting 20,000.
His opponent went into the tank for over a minute before he folded. Swerdlin checked his cards a few times but did not show before taking in the chips.
Tony Miles, the runner-up in the 2018 Main Event, is in the field.
He booked a $5,000,000 win for that performance in this tourney a few years back in an epic heads-up duel that eventually went to John Cynn.
He is currently sitting on 50,000 in chips in the early going.
Qui Nguyen made it 800 from middle position, only Justin Bonomo called from the big blind.
The flop showed up 
. Bonomo checked in flow, then called when Nguyen continued for 1,400.
The 
hit the turn, Bonomo checked for a second time. Nguyen bet 3,100, forcing Bonomo to let his cards go.
A player opened to 800 from under the gun and was called by the player one seat over. Anton Wigg then three-bet to 3,700 from late position only to see the under the gun player four-bet to 10,500. The early position player got out of the way while Wigg flatted to send the two heads-up to the flop.
Both players checked through the 
flop to see the 
turn. The under the gun player then led out for 12,000 and was called.
Action checked to Wigg on the 
river and he, after some consideration, moved all in. His opponent snapped it off but mucked after Wigg turned over 
, leaving the under the gun player with crumbs.
Tian Zhao Jiang had a raise of 4,800 in front of him before Paul Spitzberg reraised to 17,000. Robert Heidorn then moved all in for 19,500 and Jiang got out of the way after a brief tank. Spitzberg, though, called the extra amount and flipped over 
.
Heidorn had 
and the 
flop gave both players something, Spitzberg top set and Heidorn straight and flush draws. The board ran out 
and Heidorn missed everything to hit the rail, while Spitzberg is now in contention for the tournament chip lead.
After the hand, Jiang claimed he folded pocket queens.
"Paul is rocking out right now," a tablemate said.
About 5,000 got into the pot before the 
flop hit the table. Action was heads-up between Amanda Botfeld in the hijack and Scott Ball in the cutoff.
After a bet and call of 8,000 on the flop, the 
came on the turn. Botfeld fired for 15,000, and Ball put in the call with a bit of hesitation.
On the river, Botfeld moved all in quickly, applying the pressure to Ball. After about a minute or so, Ball gave up his hand, giving the big pot to Botfled.
Qui Nguyen raised it up to 700 and found a caller from the big blind.
Nguyen continued for 1,000 when checked to on the 
flop.
The big blind called and they saw the 
turn. The big blind check-called again, this time 2,000 from Nguyen and the river brought the

After a third check from the big blind, Nguyen sized up to 5,000 and was called again.
Nguyen tabled 
for kings-up and that was good to win the pot.
