Gleckler Double Starting Stack, Calls Off Opponent's Bluff

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With around 18,500 in the pot on a {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, the hijack put out a bet of 8,000. The small blind folded and Tony Gleckler called from early position.

On the {k-Hearts} turn, Gleckler lead for 10,000 and the hijack called.

The river brought the {j-Hearts}, putting a flush on the board. Gleckler checked and the hijack made it 21,000. Gleckler considered and eventually made the call.

The hijack turned over {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Gleckler confidently tabled {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and took down a very hefty pot.

Lombardo Bests Dever Again in Massive Cooler

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Picking up the action on the turn, Troy Lombardo bet 7,000 from the big blind on a board of {9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Catherine Dever called.

The river came the {2-Diamonds} and Lombardi quickly fired out another 21,000. Dever counted down her stack for about a minute before sliding in the chips to call.

Lombardo turned over {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the nut flush as Dever showed {a-Spades}{q-Spades}, the same card that completed Lombardo's flush also giving her the straight.

Moscati Raises River in Multi-Way Pot

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Play started when the hijack limped in for 400 and Stephen Chidwick opened to 1,600. The small blind called, Vincent Moscati called from the big blind and the hijack completed.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and all players checked over to Chidwick who continued for 700. The small blind and Moscati made the call and the hijack got out of the way.

The {10-Clubs} hit the turn and all players checked. On the {j-Diamonds} river the small blind led out for 3,000 and Moscati raised to 10,000. Chidwick put some thought in before he reluctantly folded and the small blind eventually mucked as well, rewarding Moscati the pot.

Sylla Enjoys his First WSOP

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The French comedian and actor Ahmed Sylla, acclaimed for his one-man shows and his main role in the French movie "The climb", is enjoying his very first World Series of Poker and is seated in front of a comfortable stack worth 112,000.

On the last hand, the flop showed {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} in a heads-up pot when the player in the big blind check-called Sylla for 600.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and this time the big blind check-raised to 3,200 another bet from Sylla for 1,100. Sylla called.

The river showed a {9-Diamonds} and the big blind bet 3,500. Sylla tanked for a minute and raised it to 8,500. The big blind didn't take long to fold his cards and Sylla added the chips to his stack.

"I came here to see what the WSOP looked like, it's like a big amusement park, I wanted to be part of it this year and play the Main Event," said Sylla, who has played poker recreationally for more than 10 years and is regularly seen in the Parisians poker rooms.
