Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ricardo Velasco raised in middle positon to 1,000 and Rommel Liscano called in the cutoff and the big blind came along as well.

The dealer spread a flop of {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and the action checked to Liscano who tossed in a bet of 1,800. Only Velasco called.

The {5-Diamonds} hit the turn and Velasco check-called another bet of 3,900.

When the {6-Hearts} hit the river, Velasco quickly fired out 10,000 and Liscano wasted no time making the call. Velasco quickly flashed his hand for the table to see but tossed it in the muck as Liscano tabled {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a straight on the river.

With 10,000 in the middle on a completed board of {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, the early position player bet 5,000. Jason Casale in the small blind gave the impression that they had a difficult decision to make.

After about a minute Casale threw three 5,000 and announced 14,000. The early position player asked if Casale would show him. Casale stayed as still as a statue until the early position player threw their cards into the muck.

Roff Plays "Perfect Poker," One of Room's Biggest Stacks

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action started on the river with about 20,000 in the pot. Brian Roff was heads up against a middle position player.

Looking at {3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Roff led from the big blind for 10,000. His opponent went into the tank for a couple of minutes before letting his cards go.

"Nice hand, nice straight, sir," said the folder.

"Nice representation of a straight," said another tablemate.

As the hand was being recorded, one of the players said, "Make sure you put perfect poker next to his name."

Roff finds himself as one of the biggest stacks in the room as dinner break approaches.

Wantman Sends Smith Deep into the Tank

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The board read {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Elliot Smith was facing a river bet of 25,000 from Matthew Wantman with a pot of 32,000 in the middle.

Smith was under the gun and stewed it over for quite some time. He shook his head multiple times while trying to get anything off of Wantman who sat motionless in his chair.

Eventually, Smith was able to find a fold and Wantman did not oblige the request to show from Smith.

Parminder Makes the Laydown

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up with 7,800 in the pot and a board of {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades} on the table. Eric Persson led out from early position for 7,000. Kumar Parminder, two seats to his left, put in the call, albeit with a bit of hesitation.

On the {8-Diamonds} river, Persson fired for 15,000, sending Parminder into the tank. "You were really behind," Parminder told Persson several times, visibly disgusted at the river.

"And you're a smart man who folds when he knows he's behind," Persson responded.

After a few minutes in the tank, and a warning from another player at the table that he'd soon be calling the clock, Parminder folded, face up, showing {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for two pair. Persson showed him {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flopped flush.

Multi-Way Mayhem

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The PokerNews team was called over to a table after the fact to report on a wild hand that happened. Action started with an early position open to 1,100 from Chris Ackerman. Eli Siboni three-bet next to act to 5,000 and Kelli Stewart made the call from the hijack. Scotter Clark four-bet from the cutoff to 9,500 and it folded back to Ackerman who moved all in for 33,000 and Siboni called for his last 15,000. Both Stewart and Clark got out of the way and the hands were shown.

Eli Siboni: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Chris Ackerman: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

When the hands were revealed Clark told the table he folded ace-king preflop making Siboni's odds drop drastically, however when the board ran out {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, Siboni scored runner-runner flush and a full triple up.
