Lococo Finds Help to Oust Opponent

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo

On a {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop, Alejandro Lococo was in the big blind and facing a jam for 700,000 by a middle position player. Lococo deliberated and eventually put in the chips.

At-Risk Player: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Alejandro Lococo: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

"Keep it low," the at-risk player pleaded.

The dealer did not keep it low, as he put down the {k-Clubs} onto the felt, causing the at-risk player to react with an exclamation of "Damn!". The {j-Spades} completed the board to confirm the result.

"Sick, that is absolutely sick... that's why I didn't want you calling," said the eliminated player as he made his exit from the table. Meanwhile, the Argentinian "Papo MC" moved over the 2.5 million chip mark as he continues his hopeful journey for another final table after his seventh-place finish in last year's Main Event.

Von Kriegenbergh Vaults Into the Lead

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Taylor Von Kreigenbergh

There was a massive pot brewing between Timur Margolin and Taylor von Kriegenbergh with around 950,000 in the middle. The board read {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Von Kriegenbergh had a bet of 550,000 in front of him. Margolin check-called and they were off to the {2-Spades} on the river.

Margolin quickly checked and Von Kriegenbergh took his time but admittedly made a "nitty" check. Margolin flipped over {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a missed straight flush draw while Von Kriegenbergh held {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for two pair.

With 350,000 in the pot on a {7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs} board, the player in late position bet 160,000.

Rok Gostisa, on the button, then raised to 450,000, putting his opponent in the tank for a couple of minutes.

Finally, after his long deliberation, his opponent sighed and said "Show me your king-queen" and made the call.

Gostisa showed the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and took down the big pot.

Action started on the flop heads up between Lander Lijo and his opponent. The board showed {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}.

In position, Lijo bet the flop and was check-raised to 215,000 by his opponent in the big blind. Lijo made the call.

On the {5-Clubs} turn, the big blind player bet 350,000. Again, Lijo made the call.

The river {6-Hearts} hit the board, completing the obvious flush draw. The check-raiser bet 300,000, just under half of what Lijo had behind. Lijo thought for about 30 seconds before moving all in for 675,000.

Lijo's opponent went deep into the tank for about five minutes. The clock was called.

"If you ever have one bluff, I'm supposed to call," said the player.

The countdown hit zero and the hand was declared dead.

"King-queen, I had king-queen," said Lijo's opponent.

Reiser Chops With the Same Two Pair

Niveau 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Stefan Reiser was in the big blind in a heads-up pot against an early position player on a board of {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Reiser checked and the opponent bet 40,000. Reiser check-raised to 120,000 and the opponent called.

Reiser bet 180,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn and the opponent called. The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Reiser again bet 180,000. The opponent called. Reiser showed {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for two pair and ended up splitting the pot as the opponent rolled over {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for the same flopped two pair.

Zilong Zhang, with {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} opened to 40,000 from under the gun and was called by Stephen Jaeger with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} in middle position and Ronan Sweeney in the big blind with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop hit the felt and Zhang bet 75,000. Only Jaeger called.

Zhang with just a gut-shot straight draw barrelled for 215,000 and Jager moved in for 570,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn. Zhang, continuing with his active image, made the call.

The {2-Spades} completed the board and Jaeger survived to get the double.

Stuart Young: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
