Boynton Cracks Kings for Double Up
Niveau 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Robert Boynton secured chips in the early moments of Level 9.
Boynton and a player in early position clashed before the flop, which saw a series of raises between the two before Boynton moved all in for 64,000, which the early-position player quickly called.
Boynton: 10♣10♥
Opponent: K♣K♥
The opponent’s kings were well ahead before the flop and after the flop when the dealer placed 9♠8♦8♠ on the board. Boynton even stood to gather his belongings, appearing resigned to his fate.
The turn, however, energized Boynton when 10♠ appeared on the board to give him a full house. With 7♥ on the river, Boynton was safe to sit down while the dealer pushed the pot to his seat.
