Sheils Puts Emmett into the Blender
Niveau 15
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Brandon Sheils opened to 12,000 from early position and was called by Randall Emmett from the button. The big blind also called.
Action checked to Emmett on the 8♥8♦6♦ flop and he bet 30,000. Only Sheils called.
The 3♣ turn checked through to the 3♠ river. Sheils fired out 115,000 which sent Emmett into the tank. With around 186,000 behind, he opted to fold and the pot went to Sheils.
"Ace-king?" asked Emmett.
"Maybe," replied Shiels.
After some more talk between the two, Sheils said he had ace-eight but Emmett appeared to be skeptical.
