Chen Picks Off Bluff From Hayami
Niveau 22
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Masaya Hayami opened to 60,000 from early position and only James Chen made the call in the cutoff.
The pair saw a flop of K♦Q♠10♦ and Hayami continued for 80,000, which Chen called. On the 7♦ turn Hayami kept up the aggression with a bet of 120,000, and again Chen tossed in chips for the call.
The 3♣ completed the board and Hayami took a moment before sliding out a bet of 150,000. Chen contemplated his options, but eventually put in the chips for a call.
Hayami rolled over 10♣9♣ for a pair of tens and Chen confidently tabled A♥Q♦ for a pair of queens to score the pot.
