"Could Not Have Been a Worse River" for Deeb

Niveau 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Three players saw a flop of Q52 and Shaun Deeb led out for 275,000. Aaron Ang was next to act and made the call before Alfred Atamian folded.

When the J hit the turn, Deeb continued with aggression, firing 825,000 into the middle and Ang called.

As the 4 landed on the river, Deeb checked to Ang who shook his head and paused for a few seconds. Eventually, Ang asked the dealer how much was in the pot. The dealer responded with 3,900,000 and after about 20 seconds Ang slammed a stack of blues across the line as he said pot.

Deeb sighed in disappointment as he said, "Could not have been a worse river card."

A few moments went by before Deeb passed his hand back to the dealer, surrendering the pot.
