"What a Scumbag"

Niveau 18
Ben Diebold
Ben Diebold

Ben Diebold: KJJ/9Q108
Chad Eveslage: AXxXx/944A
Leonard August: XxXx/3 - folded bring-in

Chad Eveslage completed Leonard August's bring-in and Ben Diebold put in a second bet.

"Here comes Ben," commented Eveslage before Leonard August folded his bring-in and he called.

Diebold check-called a bet on fourth street, then despite taking over the betting lead on fifth, Eveslage check-called bets from Diebold on fifth and sixth.

On seventh street, after some thought, Eveslage check-called a final bet from Diebold.

"I caught the wrong king," said Diebold with a verbal slow roll, before revealing his hand which held four to a straight flush, minus the K. Still, he had a winning king-high straight!

"What a scumbag," joked Eveslage which got a round of laughter from the table, which has been very light-hearted and jovial, despite being so close to a WSOP bracelet.

Yoon Makes a Wheel to Decimate Becker

Niveau 18

Brian Yoon: 52A/7433
Johannes Becker: 22Xx/98AA

Brian Yoon completed and Johannes Becker made the call leaving action heads-up going into fourth street.

Becker bet fourth through sixth street with Yoon making the call each time.

On seventh street Becker checked and Yoon bet. Becker seemingly had a difficult decision but ultimately made the call.

Becker had made two pair with aces and twos which was not enough to best the wheel straight of Brian Yoon. Becker was left short-stacked as Yoon raked in a large pot.

Chad Eveslage: Q53/Q2104
Ben Yu: XxXx/2 - folded bring-in

Chad Eveslage completed and Leonard August made it two bets to go. Ben Yu folded his bring-in and Eveslage called.

August then called bets on fourth through sixth streets from Eveslage before both players checked the end.

August showed his trip jacks for the win and dragged the pot.

"Don't run like Chad" joked table mate Ben Diebold, referring to how well Eveslage has been running (and playing) for not just this WSOP with two bracelets already, but over the last many months with a WPT Player of the Year title to his name this year as well.

Becker Doubles Through Martini with Three Threes

Niveau 18

Johannes Becker: 33/36A7/4
Julien Martini: 29/8QQ9/K

Julien Martini completed after Johannes Becker brought in. On fourth street the two exchanged bets until Becker was all in at risk.

Martini had two pair with queens and nines but it was not enough to best Becker's rolled up threes and Becker secured a nice double up as a result.
