Jaster Gets New Life

Chris Jaster was all in from the small blind on a board of 4♥9♦7♠9♠9♣ and up against Tom Schneider in the cutoff and an opponent in early position.
The river came the 9♣. "Dammit," Jaster said as he slammed his cards down and got up from his seat. Schneider and the early-position player checked down and Schneider opened up A♦6♦5♣3♠ for ace-high.
Jaster, though, turned over A♠J♣ for ace-high, jack-kicker, which proved to be the best hand as the early-position player mucked. Jaster let out a sigh of relief and sat back down in his chair.
"Remember this hand when this guy goes on to win the tournament," a tablemate said as Jaster tripled up.
