Dortch Calls the Bluff
Niveau 2
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
The player in the cutoff raised 300 preflop and James Dortch in the small blind called.
The flop came J♠A♣9♠, and Dortch bet 700 and the cutoff called.
The Q♣ on the turn created a scary board but did not stop Dortch, who bet 1,600, and the cutoff player called again.
The river brought another scare card 10♣, and Dortch continued his betting with 2,000 and suddenly was reraised by the cutoff player to 7.000. Dortch went into the think tank for a minute and apologized to the table, and then called.
5♠7♠ was held by the cutoff, and J♥9♣ was held by Dortch. The cutoff's bluff attempt was foiled by Dortch's two pair.
