Preflop action kicked off with an all-in bet of 81,000 from a player in middle position, followed by another all in of 240,000 from a player in late position. Kyle Beaver called, having both players covered.
Middle Position: A♣9♥
Late Position: A♠K♣
Kyle Beaver: Q♣Q♦
"Come on, one time," said Beaver. The flop came 4♠7♣3♥, keeping him in the lead. He maintained that lead after the board completed 9♣J♥ to eliminate two players at once.
There was a limp in middle position and action folded all the way to Patrick Leonard in the small blind who flat called. The big blind was Rich Reussow who also made the call and the players went to a flop three ways.
The 10♠7♥10♦ flop hit the felt and Leonard immediately led out for 15,000. Reussow took his time and eventually raised to 45,000. The action was then back on middle position who seemed to have a tough decision. Eventually they found a fold. Leonard didn't take long before releasing his hand and Reussow dragged the pot.
PokerNews caught up with Reussow who gave them the downlow on what his holding was. "I had K♦7♦ in the blinds so I was betting a seven since I couldn't put him on a ten."
The aggression paid off and Reussow gets a great bet through against one of the games greats.
