The 8♦6♦6♥ flop was burned and turned and the small blind checked. Without wasting too much time the big blind opted to lead out on the paired board to the tune of 6,000. Comeskey only took a moment before ripping it in for 2x pot. The small blind folded and action was back on the big blind.

"Aces with the ace of diamonds?" asked the opponent. Eventually they made the fold and Comeskey dragged a much needed pot to get some momentum going.
