Justin Bonomo Eliminated in 23rd Place ($14,330)
Niveau 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Justin Bonomo had previously doubled his short stack of 250,000 in a preflop contest with A♠K♥ against the A♦5♦ of Mike Sowers, when the 10♥6♥3♥J♠2♠ board missed both players.
Soon after, Bonomo was flipping for his tournament life against Adrian Mateos.
Justin Bonomo: Q♣J♣
Adrian Mateos: 10♣10♠
The 10♥5♣2♥ flop left Bonomo with a mountain to climb but he picked up some equity with the 9♥ turn. However, the 2♣ river only improved Mateos to a full house.
