Mike Sowers Eliminated in 18th Place ($14,330)
Niveau 26
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Down to the last 550,000, Mike Sowers moved all in from the cutoff and it folded around to Valentino Konakchiev in the big blind. He tanked without asking for an exact count as Sowers had immediately clarified it was 550,000. Two minutes passed and Konakchiev then eventually called.
Mike Sowers: 8♦8♥
Valentino Konakchiev: Q♥J♣
The K♥Q♦10♠ flop had Sowers with one step out of the door and he vaulted out of the chair already. Nothing changed with the 2♣ turn and 4♥ river to end his run in 18th place for $14,330.
