Lin Sniffs Out a Bluff, but Vuilleumier Gets There on the River

Niveau 17 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

In a blind versus blind battle, Ren Lin bet 60,000 on a flop of 2KQ and Alexandre Vuilleumier called.

The turn came the J and Lin checked over to Vuilleumier, who fired out 200,000. "Ay, mamma mia," Lin said before he eventually called.

The 8 fell on the river and this time Vuilleumier fired out 480,000. "Call," Lin immediately said, slamming his 77 on the felt.

Vuilleumier turned over A8 and Lin thought he had made the right call before realizing Vuilleumier had rivered a pair.

"He has you beat," Sean Winter said as Lin ran away from the table.

"He knows," Chance Kornuth added.

"100 percent bluff. You're pretty terrible, but you're lucky," Lin said to Vuilleumier as he sat back down and patted Vuilleumier on the back, the two opponents sharing a laugh.
