Niveau 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Stephen Song checked from the small blind on a flop of 2J10. Chris Brewer, on his second bullet, bet 11,500 and Song called.

The turn brought the 5 and both players checked. Song bet out 20,000 on the J river, and Brewer called.

Song showed KxQx and Brewer revealed K10 for a two pair, jacks and tens to take down the 75,000 pot. "I had you preflop!" exclaimed Song.

Kornuth Shoves the Turn on Deeb

Niveau 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Freddy Deeb raised to 4,000 from the cutoff before Chance Kornuth three-bet to 20,000 in the small blind. Deeb stuck around with a call as they went heads-up to a 2710 flop.

Kornuth continued for 22,000 and Deeb quickly tossed in a green 25,000 chip to signify a call. The turn came the A and Kornuth this time slid his entire stack forward, a bet of around 80,000. Deeb snap-folded.

Andrew Lichtenberger is a recent addition to this table, while Anthony Zinno, Sean Winter, and Joe McKeehen are sitting side-by-side at an adjacent table.

Shak Takes a Seat, Immediately Snaps the River For Big Pot

Niveau 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Dan Shak had only taken his seat in the tournament after the break before getting involved in a big pot. With the board showing QJK3, Shak checked his big blind and a player in the hijack bet 27,000.

Shak quickly tossed in the chips to call as the Q fell on the river. Shak checked again and his opponent fired out 75,000. Shak again snap-called as the hijack dejectedly turned over 87 for a missed flush draw. Shak showed AK for two pair, kings and queens, to take the pot.

Three-handed on a flop of 6K9, Corel Theuma bet 15,000 from the big blind and Stephen Song and a player in the hijack called.

All three players checked the 7 turn before Theuma led out for 35,000 on the 9 river. Song quickly called while the hijack got out of the way, and Song turned over AA.

"I wonder what it feels like to have aces," Theuma said as he mucked. "Nice hand, but f**k you," he added as he and Song shared a laugh while Song added to his already big stack.
