Heads-up on a board of 10♣9♥2♦A♠, Alexandre Vuilleumier bet 118,000 from the button and Chance Kornuth called in the small blind.
The river came the 7♦ and Kornuth checked again. Vuilleumier now checked behind and showed 7♠4♦ for a rivered pair of sevens. Kornuth could only smile and flash KxJx for a missed draw as he mucked.
"Did I see seven-four win that pot," Keith Lehr asked from across the table.

Chris Brewer opened to 40,000 from under the gun, then called when small blind Bin Weng three-bet to 160,000.
The flop came Q♣5♥5♣ and Weng continued for 82,000. Brewer called, then called another bet of 136,000 on the 10♦ turn.
The river came the 4♣ and Weng cut out a bet of 485,000 from his stack and slid it into the middle. Brewer immediately threw his cards into the muck.

After Brock Wilson checked from the big blind on a K♠2♦7♦ flop, Samuel Laskowitz bet 30,000, and Wilson called.
The 5♥ fell on the turn. Wilson checked again, and Laskowitz slid 176,000 into the middle, which Wilson matched.
Wilson checked the 9♠ turn and Laskowitz moved all in for 1,382,000, more than enough to put Wilson all in if he called.
Wilson used two time banks to ponder the hand before sending his cards into the muck. 34 players continue to sweat each hand as the bubble approaches.

Keith Lehr raised to 40,000 from under the gun and was called by Alexandre Vuilleumier and Tyler Cornell in the big blind.
The flop came 8♠8♣K♣ and Lehr continued for 50,000, a bet that only Vuilleumier called. The turn came the J♥ and Lehr checked this time.
Vuilleumier now bet 83,000 and Lehr called to see the 3♦ river. Lehr checked once again and Vuilleumier stuck out 320,000.
Lehr used three time bank cards and spent several moments shaking his head and shuffling his chips before sticking them in the middle. He showed A♠A♣ and Vuilleumeier flashed KxJx before mucking.
"I mean, I know he's not bluffing," Lehr said following the hand as he became the first player to breach the 2,000,000 chip barrier.

Ben Lamb bet 115,000 from middle position on a J♣3♣4♥4♦Q♣ board. Ren Lin, in the big blind, used two time banks, debating if Lamb had a flush or ace queen. Eventually he folded, showing A♦J♦.
"Show me ace queen!" he shouted playfully at Lamb. Lamb held onto his cards as Lin continued to try and force Lamb to show he had sucked out on him.
Lamb eventually turned over the K♣ coyly. "Oh man!" said Lin. "I almost raised you all in!"
"You're the biggest liar," Lamb ribbed back. "There was no chance you were going all in."

With the elimination of Steve Zolotow, and 34 players remaining, the tournament has moved to hand-for-hand.

Chris Moore and Koray Aldemir built a blind-versus-blind pot of around 130,000 heading to the turn on a board of Q♣10♠3♥5♦. Both players checked and the river came the 6♦.
Moore now led out for 125,000 and Aldemir quickly called. Moore turned over A♥Q♦ for top pair and Aldemir mucked his hand.

Justin Bonomo, Steve Zolotow, and Alexandre Vuilleumier went three-handed to a flop of 7♦9♠5♠ and checked through to the 2♥ turn.
Bonomo, in the small blind, bet 80,000 and Zolotow leaned back in his chair with his hands on his head before deciding to fold. Vuilleumeier, though, stuck around to see the 3♥ river.
Bonomo slowed down and checked this time, and Vuilleumeier fired out 200,000. Bonomo could only shake his head as he mucked his cards.

Koray Aldemir was all in for 326,000 from the big blind and up against Ren Lin under the gun.

"I have the Lady Gagas," Lin said as both players began filming the action. The 10♠7♥2♣ flop gave Aldemir hope with a pair, while he missed the 5♠ turn.
The river, though, came the 10♥ and Aldemir made trips to double up.
"Wow, my man. You gamble too much. That's how you won the Main Event. No Gamble, No Future," Lin told the 2021 WSOP champ as he gave him his "No Gamble, No Future" banner.
