Daniel Strelitz Eliminated in 14th Place ($6,923)
Niveau 25
: Blinds 15,000/25,000, 0 ante
Serhii Popovych opened from under the gun and then called after Daniel Strelitz three-bet out of the big blind.
Both players took one card on the first draw with Strelitz betting and getting called.
The second draw saw Strelitz and Popovych both take one card again. Strelitz then bet and called off for his tournament life after Popovych raised.
Strelitz took one more card while Popovych stood pat, tabling 8♠7♦3♣2♥, ahead of Strelitz's 7♦3♣2♥. "It's a spade" remarked Strelitz as he peeled the fourth card. Though the right suit, the Q♠ was not sufficient to secure the pot, sending Strelitz to the payout desk in 14th place.
