Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh slid almost all of his short stack into the middle after the 258 flop, leaving 5,000 behind. Filippos Stavrakis took some time before calling the bet, after which the remaining chips were tossed into the middle ahead of the turn card.

Josh Arieh: QJ108
Filippos Stavrakis: AA107

Arieh's pair of eights needed help, but the 2 turn gave Stavrakis two pair to end it. The 7 river completed the board, as Arieh made his way to the payout desk.

Suk Bang was first to show and revealed the nut flush in the form of A892. A frustrated Muramalla flashed 738x6x for what was the nut straight, rivered flush.

Muramalla was sent to pay outs and Bang continued to extend their chip lead.

A Million Chip Swing

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A player flagged down Pokernews to relay a huge hand that had just happened between two players at his table.

Jorge Hou, who started the day as third in chips, drove the action preflop and when the pot became bloated, he got the rest of Zachary Peay's chips in the middle.

The board ran out KxJx4x, the turn was the 2 and the river was an off-suit 9.

Peay turned up the QJ1010 for the rivered straight and Hou showed the table AAKQ.

Both players are still well in contention but their stacks flipped and a huge momentun shift occurred, nonetheless.
