Becker Scoops Lamb to Stay Alive
Niveau 24
: Limits 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Erik Seidel raised from early position and was called by Ben Lamb on the button and Johannes Becker in the big blind.
The three players took a flop of 5♥8♦Q♥ and both Becker and Seidel checked over Lamb, who bet. Becker raised all-in, Seidel got out of the way and Lamb called.
Johannes Becker: A♥J♥8♥2♠
Ben Lamb: A♠5♠5♣3♦
Lamb was out front with a set of fives, but the dealer would deliver the ace-high flush for Becker on the turn in the form of the K♥ and hold off on pairing the board for Lamb on the 4♥ river, giving Becker the much needed double.
