Becker Double Leaves Obst on Fumes
James Obst raised for the second hand in a row, this time from under the gun. Johannes Becker in the small blind three-bet and Obst called as the two table short stacks headed to the 10♥9♦8♥ flop. Becker checked and Obst bet, sending his opponent into agony for half a minute.
As Becker mulled it over, he eventually got the short stack in and the cards were flipped over. "I have the worst possible hand," Obst declared with a dry smile on the face while doing so.
