Lee and Duong Find Wild Runout In Big Pot
Stephanie Lee opened the action from under the gun to 600 and was called by three players next to act, as well as the small blind and Anh Duong in the big blind.
The six players saw a flop of 5♦4♦2♥ and the small blind checked to Duong who tossed out 2,000. Lee called and the player next to act put in a raise to 8,000, which only Duong and Lee called.
On the 3♥ turn Duong led out for 10,000 and only Lee came along. The A♥ hit the river and Duong moved all in for roughly 20,000. Lee double-checked the board and made the call for essentially the same stack.
Duong tabled J♦3♦ for a missed flush draw but was playing the board with a straight. Lee rolled over A♦10♦ for the board as well to chop up the massive pot.
"Why couldn't a diamond hit?" joked Lee as she and Duong collected their chips.
