Island Finds a Double Up
Niveau 11
: 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
An under-the-gun player opened to 4,000 and Mandy Island moved all in next to act for 16,900. The rest of the table folded and the cards were on their backs.
Mandy Island: K♥Q♣
Opponent: A♥10♠
Island was slightly behind preflop, but when the dealer fanned out K♦9♥4♥9♠4♠, it was the flopped king that turned the tables to score a full double up for Island.
