Elsby Hangs On With Aces
Niveau 37
: 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
In a heads-up pot with just under 10,000,000 in the middle on a board showing Q♦Q♣3♦8♠, Matthew Elsby checked from the middle position to Qiwen Chen next to act who bet out 5,500,000. Elsby pondered his decision, but eventually made the call.
The 9♥ hit the river and Elsby quickly checked to Chen, who after some time, tapped the table to check back. Elsby rolled over A♠A♥ for rockets and scored the pot when Chen tossed his cards into the muck.
