"Andy Avalanche" Finds a Double Up

Niveau 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action was picked up when all the chips were in the middle preflop between a player in middle position and Andy Joros in the cutoff, who was the player at risk for his last 125,000.

Andy Joros: QJ
Opponent: A10

Joros was slighly behind, but when the flop came QJ9, Joros flopped two-pair to take the lead. The 64 bricked off for Joros' opponent and self-proclaimed "Andy Avalanche" scored the double up to stay alive.

Conlan Ends The "One Chip Wonders" Dream

Niveau 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Eddie Valladares opened from under the gun to 25,000 and it folded to Eduardo Montoya in the hijack who moved all in for his last 13,000. Jonas Conlan was in the big blind and reshoved with a bigger stack to fold out Valladares and the cards were shown.

Eduardo Montoya: AK
Jonas Conlan: QQ

It was a classic flip situation, but when the board ran out 53262, it was the queens for Conlan that ended the comeback for Montoya as he made his way to the exit just before the bubble.

"Sorry I ended the dream of the one chip wonder," joked Conlan as he scooped in the pot referring to a few hands ago when Montoya had only one chip left.
