Erik Schmidt was down to a single yellow 1,000 chip and put it in the middle with a 8x showing. Walter Treccarichi and Aloisio Dourado called.
Both players checked to fifth, where Treccarichi bet and Dourado folded.
Treccarichi finished with KxAx7x4x6x7x2x, catching the deuce on seventh to make 7-6-4-2-A. Schmidt had 5x3x8x3x8x2x and caught an Ax on his last card, but it wasn't enough to avoid becoming the bubble boy.
"I called for the ace of spades and got it. He caught the perfect card," Schmidt lamented as he made his way to the rail.
