Windmiller Shows a Straight, Then Rolled Up Aces

Niveau 12

Seven Card Stud

David Windmiller: XxXx/1099J/Xx
Ben Ross: XxXx/6A102/Xx

David Windmiller bet on every street and Ben Ross called him down. Windmiller showed down Q85 on seventh for a straight and Ross mucked his hand.

Windmiller was still stacking chips from that big pot when he got involved in another, also with Ross and one other opponent.

David Windmiller: XxXx/94KK/Xx
Ben Ross: XxXx/71078/Xx
Opponent: XxXx/9AQ3

Windmiller's opponent bet on fourth before Windmiller raised. Ross and the original bettor called, then called again when Windmiller bet on fifth. All three players checked sixth and seventh.

Windmiller turned over AA for aces in the hole and two pair, and both opponents mucked.

Lindgren Back in Action

Niveau 11

Stud Hi-Lo

Erick Lindgren: XxXx/82A9/Xx
Opponent: XxXx/6J44/Xx

Erick Lindgren, two-time bracelet winner and 2008 Player of the Year, makes only rare appearances at the WSOP and hasn't cashed in a live WSOP event since 2019. But he's in the field in this event and just took down a decent-sized pot.

Lindgren's opponent bet on fourth street and Lindgren came back with a raise. His opponent called, then called another bet on fifth. Both players checked on sixth.

Lindgren bet again on seventh and his opponent called showing a pair of fours. Lindgren turned over A82 for two pair and his opponent flailed his hand in the air in frustration before mucking.

Seven Card Stud

Eoghan O'Dea was all in with a short stack as action folded to Daniel Negreanu, who was the bring-in with the 5.

"You have three cards. I have three cards. I can make a full house," Negreanu said as he called to put O'Dea at risk.

O'Dea ended up with K9J6578 for a straight as Negreanu made 55592J for trip fives heading to seventh. "It's paint," Negreanu said as he peeled his last card, which turned out to be the J completing his full house.

"I said I can make a full house and I did," Negreanu said after the hand as O'Dea headed for the exit.

Fujimoto Cracks Aces

Niveau 11

No-Limit Hold'em

Three players, including Koji Fujimoto in the big blind and John Cernuto under the gun, saw a flop of 9Q9. The button bet 2,400 and both opponents called.

All three players checked the 6 turn before Fujimoto led out for 4,000 on the 2 river. Cernuto folded, but the button responded by moving all in for around 20,000.

Fujimoto snap-called with 109 for flopped trips and his opponent could only show AA before making a quick walk to the exit.

Frederic Moss: XxXx/7x10x9x5x/Xx
Lawrence Brandt: XxXx/Kx9xAxKx/Xx

Brandt bet again on fourth and both opponents called. Moss bet on fifth and Brandt and Anderson both called.

On sixth, Brandt bet and Moss raised. Anderson called the raise, as did Brandt. Anderson showed tablemate Koray Aldemir his last card as Moss bet again.

Anderson now raised and Brandt got out of the way. Moss, though, called with 68 for a straight. "Flush," Anderson said, turning over AK3 to go with two clubs on his board.

"Got it on the end? You've been rivering me a lot," Moss said as he mucked.
