Ector Bites Into Hunt; Roussy-Majeau Left Short
Niveau 29
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Matthew Hunt raised from the cutoff and Benjamin Ector called on the button to see a flop heads-up.
Hunt bet 375,000 on the 3♥10♠10♥ flop and Ector called. Hunt sized up to 850,000 on the J♦ turn and Ector again called.
The Q♣ completed the board and Hunt sized back down to 475,000 as Ector quickly called. Hunt tabled Q♦9♥ for a rivered pair of queens, which was no good against the trips of Ector with A♥10♣.
"You are running too hot to hit the river. That wouldn't have been fair," commented Nick Palma.
Elsewhere, Samuel Roussy-Majeau was left short as he doubled Rene Lazaro, who rivered Broadway to beat the flopped two pair of his opponent.
