Ausmus Powers Up on River
Niveau 15
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Brian Rast raised 120,000 under the gun and received calls from Jeremy Ausmus in late position and Talal Shakerchi in the big blind.
The dealer placed 2♥A♣8♦ on the board, which Shakerchi checked. Rast then bet 160,000, which resulted in Ausmus calling and Shakerchi folding.
The 2♠ showed up on the turn to pair the board and action slowed down as both players checked. The 6♠ appeared on the river and Rast checked a second consecutive street.
Ausmus then bet 400,000, a move that saw Rast immediately fold his hand.
