Katz Takes Pot from Ausmus
Niveau 20
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
The mood among the final nine players changed from joking to chatting it up with each other to a sudden business-like mentality.
There were four straight hands that didn’t see a flop after a player raised, but that changed when Jeremy Ausmus and Cary Katz got involved in a hand.
Ausmus raised 400,000 on the button, and Katz called in the big blind.
The dealer brought out 7♦9♥Q♣, which both players checked. The turn showed 5♦, and again both players checked.
The river produced Q♦ and Katz led into his opponent for 350,000, which resulted in Ausmus mucking his hand.
