Tram Pham Eliminated in 10th Place ($76,300)
Niveau 42
: Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Tram Pham opened to 8,000,000 from under the gun and was called by Steven Thompson in the big blind.
Both players checked through the 3♣9♦2♣ flop to the 4♥ turn at which point Thompson bet enough to force Pham all in. After some thought, Pham called off for her tournament life.
Tram Pham: A♥J♥
Steven Thompson: 7♦7♣
Thompson was well ahead and managed to fade the Q♣ river to send Pham, the last woman in the tournament, out in 10th place.
