De Oliveira Doubles Through McKnight
Niveau 42
: Blinds 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Ryan McKnight opened to 6,000,000 from under the gun holding A♣K♦ before Tauan De Oliveira moved all in from the cutoff with J♥J♦. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to McKnight and he quickly called with the covering stack to put the Brazilian at risk.
Tauan De Oliveira: J♥J♦
Ryan McKnight: A♣K♦
It was a classic race with potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. The Q♥8♠3♣ flop kept the jacks ahead with the 9♣ turn changing nothing. De Oliveira secured the double once the J♣ river completed the board to ensure he would not be the first casualty of the final table.
