Ashner Turns Hand Around

On a flop of J86 and facing a 7,000 bet from a player in early position, Tim Ashner called from the hijack. The small blind then went all in for 39,500. The player in early position folded. Ashner then began to think. He cut out the amount of the call, then added it back to his stack. After a minute or two, another player at the table called for the clock. Ashner then said "No, it's okay, I call."

Ashner's flush draw was far behind, but he suddenly went ahead with the 9 on the turn. A 4 on the river gave Ashner the pot and eliminated his opponent.

Chen wins pot Before Break

On a run out of 58A65 Pete Chen on the big blind decided to shove all of his chips in for 26,000. The pot held 20,000 and the middle position player took some time before mucking.

Chen showed Ax8x and raked in a decent pot before heading to the break.

The flop came 436 and the middle position player checked and Rivero shoved all of his chips in for 45,000. The middle position player called and we headed to the turn.

The board ran Q5K as the small and big blind checked. Kursar put out a continuation bet of 6,000 getting one caller to the turn.

A few straight draws were completed, as the J peeled off on the turn. After his opponent checked, Kursar showed no fear having jammed all in for 27,400. His opponent quickly folded leaving him to collect the pot.
