Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action started with a raise of 4,000 from the under-the-gun player, with three callers pursuing to the flop.

The flop came 7A2 with both early position players electing to check. The mid position player fired for 7,500, as Edsel Guiriba three bet to 16,000. Both early players folded, with the original better calling to the turn.

His opponent was quick to check the turn of the 6, as Guiriba jammed all in. His opponent quickly folded as Guiriba scooped the pot.

Campbell Ousts Opponent

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Picking up the action after the flop, Calais Campbell in the big blind was involved in a pot with a player on the button. With the board reading 682 Campbell moved all in and his opponent called off with the shorter stack to put himself at risk.

Button Player: K6
Calais Campbell: AA

Campbell had found pocket rockets at an opportune moment to leave his opponent drawing thin. Nothing changed on either the 9 turn or J river to hand the pot and elimination to Campbell, an accomplished NFL defensive end currently under contract with the Atlanta Falcons.

"I Had Outs" Player Jokes as Ferguson Flops Quads

Niveau 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Action began preflop as an under the gun raise for 4,000 received two callers.

The flop came KJJ with all three players checking round.

Little changed with the 2 on the turn, as the first acting player checked. Mike Ferguson checked from middle position, with the late position player having fired for 6,000. Both remaining players made the call.

The river was the 9 as one check led to Ferguson betting out for 20,000. Both opponents folded with Ferguson showing JJ for the flopped quads. A nice hand to end the table on before breaking, as Ferguson shows how to perfectly play Jacks.

Young Gambles It Up

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by a player on the button before Justin Young moved all in for 73,000 out of the small blind. The early position player rejammed with the larger stack while the button got out of the way to put Young at risk.

Justin Young: J10
Early Position Player: AK

Young was behind with his tournament life on the line but vaulted into the lead following the 7J6 flop. The 10 turn further improved him to two pair, leaving his opponent needing to find a queen to score the knockout. The A river failed to change anything, sending Young's stack shooting up the leaderboard. "I know I shouldn't've won" Young remarked as the dealer counted up his stack. Whether the result was justified or not, however, will be of little consolation to his opponent, who was left with dust as the late registration period in this, the final flight, nears its conclusion.

Bonomo Limps and Wins

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

There was a player in late position who placed one 5,000 chip in the middle. When it folded to Justin Bonomo in the small blind there appeared to have been some confusion as the player who put a 5,000 chip out meant to raise but since he did not announce, it was considered a call. Bonomo got the ruling from the dealer and opted to limp. The big blind checked and they were off to a flop of A55.

Action checked to the late position player who put out a wager of 4,000. Bonomo called and the big blind folded.

The Q landed on the turn and Bonomo checked over to the late position player who slowed down and checked behind.

The river 3 landed and Bonomo checked one more time. The in-position player checked behind and Bonomo tabled A3 for top pair and the other player mucked.
