A player in the middle position raised to 400,000 met by a button three-bet from Matt Glantz. The original raiser instantaneously goes all in for approximately 1,900,000 and Glantz called just as fast.
Middle Position: J♠J♣
Matt Glantz: K♦K♣
The board ran out 8♥5♣2♠4♦K♠. Glantz claimed another tournament life affording him an opportunity to try and pull the $1,000,000 bounty in back-to-back years at the WSOP.

A player under the gun opened to 240,000. Russell Fenoglio in the small blind called as did the big blind.
Three players went to a flop of A♣K♦4♠. Both blinds checked to the original raiser who continued for 180,000. Fenoglio called but the big blind reraised to 750,000. While the under-the-gun player folded, Fenoglio retaliated with a strong three-bet jam for the entirety of his stack. The big blind folded and Fenoglio raked in this pot.

Cassio Pisapia pulled a golden chest and was able to turn that into $50,000 after pulling one of the two remaining envelopes containing that amount.
Just after the $50,000 envelope was pulled out of the bounty chest, Kevin Towler managed to get his hands on the third one to lock up a sizable payday.
A player limped in the small blind and Chris Hunichen checked his option out of the big blind.
The small blind led out for 120,000 after the 10♦7♦2♦ flop and was called by Hunichen.
The Q♥ turn saw the small blind fire again, this time making it 210,000 to call. Hunichen responded by raising to 650,000 and, after some thought, his opponent relinquished his holding.

Joseph Salvaggi drew the attention of PokerNews to the big screen as he said "I got back-to-back pulls. Watch this!". Salvaggi gestured to the screen as the bounty was drawn, sure enough, a golden chest was revealed giving Salvaggi an opportunity to pull for the remaining grand prize. Though his concerns seemed elsewhere as he commented "It's my big blind!" as he headed to the stage.
On Salvaggi's walk a fellow player shouted "Win the million!". Unfortunately, it was not to be as Salvaggi opened a $25,000 bounty. In addition, he received a $1,000 in succession.
The remaining 189 players have been sent on their first official 15-minute break of the day. They will return to blinds of 80,000/160,000 with a 160,000 big blind ante.
