Sinishtaj Takes From D'Ambrosio

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jimmy D'Ambrosio opened to 80,000 from early position only to see Tony Sinishtaj three-bet to 280,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to D'Ambrosio who responded by four-betting to 460,000. Sinishtaj quickly called.

D'Ambrosio continued for 80,000 following the J4K flop and was promptly called.

There was no slowing down following the 9 turn as D'Ambrosio instantly fired off 265,000. Almost as quicklly, Sinishtaj committed calling chips.

Once the 5 river completed the board, D'Ambrosio loaded up one more barrel, pushing a hefty 365,000 across the betting line. Sinishtaj made the call and turned over KQ, sufficiently strong to scoop a sizable pot that saw his stack move north of the 3,000,000 mark. "No one at the table can complain we were tanking" joked D'Ambrosio as he remained in a jovial mood despite taking a hit to his chip total.

Marku Isolates Bounty with Flop Jam

Niveau 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

The player under the gun had all their chips in the middle preflop with two callers putting their tournament life at risk. However, action still remained on the side between a player in early position and Steve Marku in the cutoff as they battled on a board of 9102.

Marku's out-of-position opponent lead into him for an additional 400,000 chips to which he responded by reraising all in forcing a fold from his opponent and isolating the bounty at risk.

Clock Called on Haines

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Chris Haines raised from the middle position to 190,000. The action reached the button, who shoved all in for 460,000. Haines sat on his decision for some time before one of the players at the table requested the floor for the clock. After having the ruling recited to him, Haines had thirty seconds to act on his decision. He put in the extra 270,000 within the allotted time frame and the cards went on their backs.

Button: A10
Chris Haines: A7

The board ran out in dramatic fashion as the first four cards read KQ54, but the nail in the coffin came the 7 on the river.

Haines won the pot as the player who called the clock commented "I won you a bounty."

Roberts Raises River

Niveau 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Christian Roberts
Christian Roberts

Action is picked up on a board of KKJ5 when an early position player assembled a large bet of 250,000 chips. Christian Roberts was on the button and thought for about a minute before putting in the smooth call.

The river rolled off a relative blank 3 and the early position player grabbed a hefty stack of green 25,000 chips. The bet ended up amounting to 375,000 and action was back on Roberts.

He thought for over two minutes before announcing "two million" to the dealer, which left him with just one big blind back. As he pushed the bulk of his chips in the middle, the early position player appeared to have a very difficult decision. Ultimately, he folded his hand and Roberts scored a huge pot early in Day 2.
